AI Delivery & Transformation Lead 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Sydney | Hybrid

We're partnering with a leading healthcare organisation that is investing in AI and digital transformation and is now looking for an AI Delivery & Transformation Lead to take ownership of the next stage of its AI journey.

The organisation is currently working with a leading consulting partner to develop an AI roadmap.

This role will sit at the centre of that roadmap, taking the agreed opportunities and turning them into real, deliverable initiatives across the business.

This isn't an AI engineering role, nor is it a pure strategy position. We're looking for someone who can bridge the gap between business, technology and AI and make sure the right ideas actually get delivered.

What you'll be doing:

- Take ownership of the delivery of the organisation's AI roadmap and translate strategic recommendations into actionable initiatives.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify, shape and prioritise AI use cases based on business value and feasibility.
- Translate business problems into practical AI solutions and work closely with technical teams to deliver them.
- Act as the key link between business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners.
- Provide enough technical oversight to challenge and guide engineering and data teams around AI solutions, LLMs, data, document processing and implementation.
- Establish appropriate AI guardrails, governance and ways of working.
- Consider the commercial side of AI initiatives, including ROI, cost, prioritisation and the ongoing management of AI spend.
- Coordinate multiple AI initiatives from discovery through to implementation and adoption.




- Help the organisation move from experimentation and strategy into repeatable, scalable AI delivery.
- Work across areas such as customer service, sales forecasting, quote automation, email triage, supply chain and customer/patient support.

You could come from an:

- AI Delivery or Transformation background
- Technical Product Management background
- Technical Program / Project Management background
- Digital Transformation background
- AI consulting background with solid delivery experience

You'll ideally have:

- Experience delivering AI or AI-enabled transformation initiatives in a business environment.
- Strong understanding of AI, LLMs and emerging AI technologies without necessarily being a hands-on engineer.
- The ability to translate business problems into practical technology solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working closely with engineering, data or technology teams.
- A commercial mindset with an understanding of ROI, prioritisation and cost.
- Strong delivery skills and the ability to take ownership rather than simply provide recommendations.
- The confidence to operate in an environment where the AI function is still being established.

This is a chance to join at an early stage of a significant AI transformation and have genuine ownership over how AI is implemented across the organisation.

You'll have the opportunity to shape the roadmap, work across multiple areas of the business and build out the foundations for how AI is used going forward.
