In short: A site-based delivery role with a global electrical infrastructure business, leading multidisciplinary teams from installation through commissioning to client handover on data centre, utility and industrial projects. 3+ years of hands-on electrical infrastructure, commissioning or critical power project delivery required.
D’Arcy Weil is recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of a global electrical infrastructure business. The role takes front-line ownership of project execution in the field, including:
- Building and running delivery, resourcing and commissioning plans that hold schedule, cost and quality
- Directing on-site personnel, specialist subcontractors and vendors, with clear accountability on every activity
- Spotting delivery risk early and putting mitigation in place, while keeping the site safe and compliant
- Tracking financial performance and milestones, and correcting course quickly when something slips
- Building trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholders at every level
It suits a hands-on leader who is happiest on site: someone who can pull people, contractors and technical activity together and hand a critical facility over on time and to specification.
The Role
- Delivery: Lead projects through the full field delivery cycle, maintaining delivery, resourcing and commissioning plans that keep work on track against schedule, cost and quality targets
- Field coordination: Direct on-site personnel, specialist subcontractors and vendors, keeping accountability clear and coordination tight through execution
- Risk and compliance: Identify delivery risk early and apply mitigation that protects the programme and quality, while keeping site operations safe and compliant
- Commercial control: Monitor financial performance and milestone progress, spotting deviations early and acting promptly to protect outcomes
- Client engagement:
Build productive, trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders, and lead with clarity and confidence in a complex project environment
