Superintendent / Project Manager - Civil & Subdivisions
North Sydney | $150,000-$200,000 depending on experience

An chance is available for an experienced Superintendent / Project Manager to join a civil engineering consultancy based in North Sydney, overseeing the construction delivery of subdivision and land development projects across Sydney.

We're looking for someone with significant civil construction experience gained with a contractor, who understands how projects are delivered on site and can bring that practical knowledge to managing contractors, clients and project outcomes.
The role

- Manage subdivision and civil infrastructure projects through construction and handover.
- Undertake project management and superintendent responsibilities, including contract administration.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, budgets and programmes.
- Review progress claims, variations and contractual matters.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities.




- Resolve site issues and maintain clear communication across the project team.

About you

- Strong experience delivering subdivisions and associated civil works.
- Substantial experience working for a civil contractor, ideally as a Project Manager or Construction Manager.
- Practical knowledge of earthworks, roads, drainage, sewer and water infrastructure.
- Sound commercial judgement and experience managing contracts, costs and programmes.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and site teams.

This could suit an experienced contractor-side Project Manager seeking a move into consultancy, or an established Superintendent with a strong construction background.
