D’Arcy Weil is recruiting a Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing on behalf of a major professional services firm. The Melbourne-based role sits within the tax and legal practice and leads transfer pricing work across a diverse multinational client portfolio, including:

- Advising on transfer pricing documentation, controversy matters and cross-border regulatory challenges
- Applying economic and financial analysis to give well-reasoned, commercially sound advice
- Widening the scope and depth of client relationships, and shaping client strategy
- Working with tax, legal and the wider firm network to deliver joined-up outcomes for clients
- Managing workflow and developing the people on the team

It suits a technical leader who can hold a client’s confidence through a difficult tax authority review, and who gets the best out of a team while growing the practice.

The Role

- Engagement leadership: Lead complex transfer pricing work across a broad multinational client portfolio, advising on documentation, controversy and cross-border regulatory challenges, and applying economic and financial analysis to give sound, commercially grounded advice
- Strategic influence: Find opportunities to expand and deepen client relationships, contribute to solutions for increasingly complex global tax issues, and shape client strategy with confidence and judgement
- Cross-practice collaboration: Work with colleagues across tax, legal and the firm’s wider network to bring clients coordinated, integrated outcomes,



and add to the firm’s collective expertise and market position
- Team leadership: Manage workflow, support team performance and create an environment where people do their best work, building a culture of collaboration, coaching and continuous development

About You

- Transfer pricing and tax advisory experience with multinational clients
- Strong technical grounding in transfer pricing concepts, documentation requirements and controversy matters
- Analytical strength in economic, financial or quantitative problem-solving
- Confidence leading client engagements and building trusted relationships
- Experience guiding and developing teams
- Robust written and verbal communication
- Broader corporate tax, international tax, legal or tax technology experience advantageous
