A well-regarded advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its growing national restructuring practice. The firm works with lenders, boards, creditors and distressed companies on both formal insolvency appointments and early intervention engagements.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day delivery of medium to large matters, working closely with the engagement partner and the appointees.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Running formal appointments, including voluntary administrations, liquidations and receiverships, under the supervision of the appointees
- Delivering early intervention engagements, including independent business reviews, safe harbour advice, financial sustainability reviews, counterparty reviews and liquidity reviews




- Completing detailed financial and commercial analysis, identifying key issues and areas of sensitivity, and following up with management and stakeholders
- Supporting the engagement partner in assignment planning, including scoping, conflict clearance, budgeting and staffing
- Preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Supervising and coaching junior staff, and contributing to the team’s technical training
- Developing client relationships and supporting business development initiatives

About You
To be successful, you will have:

- A degree in commerce, law or an equivalent discipline
- Approximately 7 to 10 years of restructuring or advisory experience, acting for creditors or distressed companies
- ARITA qualification, or a willingness to complete it
- Strong technical knowledge of insolvency
- Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach
