About the Role
The Sales Lead role is suitable for a sales skilled with a 'hunter' mentality focused on prospecting, calling, meeting, presenting, quoting, following up and closing. The expectation is to create opportunities and convert them into long term customers while maintaining a current sales pipeline.

This role is based in Naval Base 6165 with regular client visits and occasional interstate/international travel.

- Emergency response, rescue and safety equipment
- Medical and specialist operational equipment
- Equipment/Specialist Vehicle hire solutions and fleet solutions

Key Responsibilities

- Close out daily sales/quotes
- Grow sales across existing accounts
- Independently identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Driving opportunities through to commercial close and operational handover
- Forging and maintaining strong client relationships
- Coordinating internal resources to support sales activities
- Managing a practical and active sales pipeline
- Driving opportunities through to commercial close and operational handover

About You




This role is ideal for someone who is results orientated, highly motivated and confident in closing deals.

- Proven success in B2B sales, business development and account management
- Strong hunter mentality
- Confident with cold calling and meeting new prospects
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Background in technical products, equipment, hire services, fleet solutions or similar sectors
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Commercially focused and accountable
- Current Australian Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded
Experience in mining, energy, infrastructure, industrial, defence or government sectors, as well as equipment hire, fleet solutions, emergency response equipment or tender-driven sales environments.
