We are seeking reliable and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our manufacturing team producing high-quality PVC electrical conduit bends and fittings. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment, ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, maintaining equipment reliability and making a real impact on operational performance.

Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour.

Hours: Monday - Friday 10am-6pm.

Key Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Manager, your duties will include:

- Maintaining accurate maintenance records, including schedules, work orders, inspection checklists and service reports.
- Applying risk‑based thinking when prioritising maintenance work, considering impacts on product conformity and delivery performance.
- Investigating equipment issues, identify root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing maintenance records and evidence of compliance.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Managing preventive, corrective and ad-hoc maintenance across all plant, equipment and facilities.
- Verifying completed repairs meet operational and product quality requirements and ensuring equipment is safe and fit for service.
- Coordinating maintenance schedules, equipment isolation and return-to-service with production teams, prioritising work based on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Identifying required parts,



tools and resources to complete maintenance activities efficiently.
- Conducting weekly forklift inspections, maintaining records, reporting and rectifying defects, and removing unserviceable equipment from use.

Skills & Experience: The successful applicant will possess:

- Relevant trade qualification (mechanical maintenance/fitting or equivalent) or demonstrated maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing - Essential.
- Forklift licence (or ability to obtain) and ability to complete forklift inspections.
- Experience planning and executing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
- Competence in fault-finding and interpreting drawings/manuals/specifications.
- Ability to coordinate work with production teams and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records (paper or digital).
- A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to safely operate machinery following training.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements: This position involves

- Hands-on maintenance, inspections and coordination across the factory.
- Working in a manufacturing workplace around machinery and equipment.
