Forklift Operators - Produce Markets Location: Canning Vale, WA Employment Type: Casual with permanent potential Start: ASAP

Category 5 Labour Management is currently seeking 2 experienced Forklift Operators to join our client in Canning Vale, working within the busy fresh produce transport industry.

These positions offer consistent hours, ongoing work and the opportunity to join a fast-paced transport operation. Ideal for reliable operators who enjoy early starts and hands-on work. About the Role You will be responsible for operating forklifts within busy produce markets, working alongside truck drivers to load fresh produce from various suppliers. Your duties will include:

- Operating Toyota gas forklifts within busy produce markets
- Moving between suppliers alongside trucks to assist with loading
- Loading fresh produce pallets safely onto trucks
- Handling, moving and positioning pallets efficiently
- Working closely with truck drivers and other market personnel
- Maintaining safe and organised loading areas
- Following site safety procedures and operational requirements

Shifts & Hours:

Position 1 - Monday to Saturday

- Monday to Friday: 5:00am - 11:00am
- Saturday: 5:00am - 9:00am
- 34 rostered hours per week

Position 2 - Tuesday to Sunday

- Tuesday to Friday: 5:00am - 11:00am
- Saturday and Sunday: 5:00am - 9:00am
- 32 rostered hours per week

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Confidence operating forklifts around trucks and loading areas




- Experience loading and unloading trucks highly regarded
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Reliable transport and availability for 5:00am starts
- Flexibility to work weekends as required
- Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic
- High-reach forklift experience is not required.
