We have opportunities emerging across a range of regional and rural hospitals, with roles depending on your experience, availability and site requirements.

- Lismore Base Hospital: A major regional referral and trauma centre with opportunities across Emergency, general medical and surgical wards, ICU and other specialist services. Ideal for nurses who enjoy a higher-acuity environment and clinical variety.
- Grafton Base Hospital: Explore opportunities in a regional base hospital setting, with potential ED and inpatient ward placements. Enjoy the Clarence Valley lifestyle and take a day trip to beautiful Yamba.

- Emergency Department: Rapid-paced regional and rural emergency nursing, assessment, triage and acute presentations.
- General Medical: Acute medical admissions, complex presentations and ongoing patient management.
- Surgical Wards: Pre- and post-operative care, surgical admissions and recovery.
- Sub-Acute & Rehabilitation: Supporting recovery, rehabilitation and patient independence.
- HDU / Critical Care: Opportunities for appropriately experienced nurses in high-dependency environments.
- ICU: Critical care opportunities for nurses with relevant ICU experience and competencies.
- Rural & MPS Nursing: Varied clinical responsibilities in smaller regional facilities, depending on site requirements and your scope of practice.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

To be considered for these opportunities, you’ll need:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant recent clinical experience in the specialty you’re applying for.
- A minimum of four years of nursing experience for NNSW opportunities, with the appropriate experience and competencies for your chosen clinical area.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) at the application stage.
- A current National Police Check.
- An up-to-date CV outlining your clinical experience, employment history and relevant competencies.
- Two professional references from recent clinical managers or supervisors who can speak to your clinical practice.
- Availability for a minimum six-week contract.
- The flexibility and confidence to work in a new clinical environment, with the appropriate skills for the position.

Additional site-specific compliance may be required, including relevant vaccination evidence, statements of service, mandatory training and other checks.

Emergency, critical care and rural roles may have additional competency requirements.

Important: A NSW WWCC is required when applying, so please ensure this is ready before submitting your application.
