SustainHealth is currently recruiting an experienced Community Midwife for an Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) in the Pilbara, WA.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Midwife looking to experience community-based practice in a regional and remote setting, with an ASAP start for 4–8 weeks.

The role is Monday–Friday with no on-call component and will involve a combination of clinic-based care, community outreach and home visits.

About the role:

The successful Midwife will work within an Aboriginal Medical Service in the Pilbara, providing community-based midwifery care across a range of settings.
The role will include:

- Clinic-based midwifery
- Community outreach
- Home visits
- Supporting women and families within the local community
- Working collaboratively with a fantastic, supportive team

About you:

- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous community midwifery experience
- Previous AMS / Aboriginal health experience highly desirable
- Communicare knowledge desirable
- Ability to work autonomously within a community setting




- Experience working in regional or remote environments is advantageous
- Full working rights in Australia
- Willingness to complete required compliance checks
