Tecside is currently seeking experienced Civil Labourers to join our team for upcoming civil construction and infrastructure projects across Adelaide.

We are looking for motivated and reliable candidates with previous civil construction experience, particularly those with exposure to pipelaying, trenching and earthmoving operations. Candidates with relevant machinery tickets and the ability to work effectively as part of a civil crew are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- General civil labouring duties across construction and infrastructure sites.
- Assisting with pipelaying, including stormwater, sewer and drainage installations.
- Assisting with trenching, excavation and underground service installations.
- Supporting plant operators with excavation, trench preparation and backfilling.
- Installing pipes, pits and other underground infrastructure components.
- Spotting machinery and maintaining safe exclusion zones around operating plant.
- Using hand and power tools to complete daily site tasks.
- Performing manual handling, site preparation and clean-up duties.
- Following site plans, supervisor instructions and workplace health and safety procedures.

Mandatory Requirements

- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Previous experience working on civil construction sites.
- Experience with general civil labouring duties.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to undertake physical work and manual handling.





Highly Desirable Experience & Tickets

Candidates with any of the following experience, licences or tickets will be highly regarded:

- Pipelaying experience, particularly stormwater, sewer and drainage.
- Trenching and excavation experience, including working around underground services.
- Earthmoving machinery tickets or relevant competency, including excavators, skid steers, rollers, loaders and other civil plant.
- Plant operation experience and the ability to assist operators on site.
- Experience with pit and pipe, underground services or subdivision works.
- Traffic management qualifications.
- Current HR or HC licence.
- Confined space and working at heights tickets.
