VP Recruit is a Sydney-based construction and trades labour hire agency that knows the industry. We’ve been doing it since 2018, and we’re straight with clients, we know our candidates, and we deliver what we say we’ll deliver. We’re growing, and this role is part of that growth.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced labour hire consultant to take ownership of a desk in construction, trades and civil. You’ll start with a few clients and leads, then bring your own network and build the desk from there. Your focus area will be defined together when you start, based on your experience and where you can have the most impact.
You’ll have the autonomy to run your desk your way, backed by our large candidate database, our systems and an office team that handles payroll, compliance and onboarding.
This is a work from home role, but you need to be Sydney based and out visiting clients and sites. All travel to clients is paid.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Winning current construction, trades and civil clients through your network, outreach and site visits
- Growing the clients and leads you start with




- Understanding each client’s needs and agreeing rates that protect margin
- Drawing on our large candidate database and expanding it in your area
- Taking ownership of your pipeline and your results
- Working with the team to share knowledge and keep things running smoothly

What We’re After

- Proven labour hire experience, ideally construction, trades or civil
- A real record of winning and growing clients, with numbers you can talk about
- An existing network in construction, trades or civil is a plus
- Commercially sharp: you understand margin and charge-out rates
- Self-driven and comfortable running your own desk
- A stable work history and a reputation for doing what you say you’ll do

- $80,000 to $100,000 base + super, depending on experience
