OVERVIEW:

An exciting opportunity is available to join a well known Adelaide-based landlord. With 30 + years in the local property market, they have built a quality portfolio of shopping centres, commercial office buildings and industrial assets, along with sustainable mixed use developments.
Our client is seeking a Commercial Property Manager who enjoys working with a collaborative team and a hands-on landlord.
Working closely with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management, maintenance and performance of the portfolio, with the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and improvement of the assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with the management of a portfolio of large format retail, neighbourhood shopping centres, industrial commercial assets, ensuring optimal performance and occupancy
- Build and maintain solid tenant relationships, handling enquiries, negotiations, and retention strategies
- Oversee lease administration including renewals, rent reviews, and compliance
- Monitor property income and expenditure, including budgeting, forecasting, and arrears management
- Coordinate maintenance and capital works, ensuring assets are well presented and operationally efficient
- Work closely with internal stakeholders on asset strategy and value-add initiatives
- Liaise with external parties




- Ensure all assets in the portfolio comply with relevant legislation and standards

CRITERIA:

- Ideally you will bring at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar style role within the commercial property industry
- Current property registration
- Strong understanding of commercial leases, outgoings and property operations
- Experience managing contractors, maintenance and building services
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- High level of tenant engagement and relationship management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and hands on approach to property and facilities management
