About VP Recruit

VP Recruit is a Sydney-based construction and trades labour hire agency that knows the industry. We’ve been doing it since 2018, and we’re straight with clients, we know our candidates, and we deliver what we say we’ll deliver. We’re growing, and this role is part of that growth.

The Role

We’re growing the team and we need a consultant to build a desk in construction, trades and civil. You’ll start with a few clients and leads, and you’ll grow from there by winning your own and looking after everything you bring in. Your specific focus will be set when you start, based on your experience and where the opportunities are.
You’ll be doing real outreach: cold calls, follow-ups and site visits. Not aggressive sales for the sake of it, but consistent relationship building with the right people in the right companies.
This is a work from home role, but you need to be Sydney based and available to meet clients and visit sites. All travel to clients is paid.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Winning current clients across Sydney’s construction, trades and civil sectors through outreach, calls and site visits
- Looking after the clients and leads you start with and growing them




- Drawing on our large candidate database of reliable, job-ready workers
- Hitting activity targets and managing your own pipeline
- Working closely with the team to share knowledge and support delivery

What We’re After

- Experience in labour hire, ideally in construction, trades or civil
- A track record of building relationships and winning new business, in labour hire, sales or another industry
- Comfortable on the phone with people you’ve never met, and happy to get in the car and meet them
- Self-directed and motivated
- Commercially aware, with an interest in building a desk that earns well
- A stable work history and a reputation for doing what you say you’ll do

What’s In It for You

- $75,000 to $90,000 base + super, depending on experience
- Uncapped commission paid monthly
