Remuneration: Total Package Value up to $564,548 p.a.*
*Includes base salary ($223,136 - $282,912 p.a.), generous employer superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading, professional development allowance, and more.
The Opportunity

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the General Surgical Department, assisting the Clinical Director and Director of Medical Services in delivering exceptional standards of care. You will not only shape the future of clinical service delivery but also influence the next generation of medical professionals through active teaching, research, and supervision.
Key Responsibilities

- Clinical Excellence: Provide comprehensive, high-quality clinical care to benefit patients within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
- Leadership & Efficiency: Assist the Clinical Director (General Surgery) to ensure surgical services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and to the highest standard.
- Education & Mentorship: Lead the education and supervision of surgical trainees, medical students, and broader nursing and allied health teams.
- Service Development: Engage in research and service innovation as required by operational leadership to improve clinical systems and patient outcomes.
