PEHA, in partnership with Ramsay Health Care, has opened the new private emergency department at Warringal Private Hospital in Melbourne's north and is inviting expressions of interest from FACEMs and non-FACEM Emergency Registrars/CMOs.

About the Opportunity
Private Emergency Health Australia (PEHA) is a FACEM-founded and led organisation delivering expert management of private emergency departments across metropolitan, regional and rural Australia. Our focus is simple: supporting doctors to practise high-quality emergency medicine while reducing administrative burden and providing strong clinical mentorship.

Warringal Private Hospital is PEHA's first Victorian site. We are inviting expressions of interest from FACEMs and experienced ED Doctors who are seeking contractor opportunities at this department.

We offer contractor engagements with rosters designed to support sustainable, long-term practice.

Department Overview
The new emergency department at Warringal Private Hospital forms part of a major $180 million redevelopment of the hospital, one of Melbourne's most established and highly regarded private hospitals serving the northern suburbs.

The redevelopment will provide Warringal Private Hospital with:

- 17 treatment space ED, including 1 isolation room, 1 treatment room with plaster trap, 2 resus rooms, 4 fast track bays and 3 dedicated paediatric bays
- 18 bed short-stay-unit
- 290 single occupancy bedrooms
- 14 operating theatres
- A new 14 bed Intensive Care Unit
- A recent Diagnostic Imaging department
- A new 29 bed Day Surgery Centre





This creates a highly resourced clinical environment with broad specialist access and strong multidisciplinary support, backed by more than 800 accredited specialists across the Ramsay network.

About You
You are an experience ED Registrars ED CMO seeking a contractor chance that allows you to focus on the practice of emergency medicine, with less time navigating the operational pressures of the public system.

You’re an team-oriented emergency clinician who leads with professionalism, psychological safety, and strong relationship-building and actively contributes to the culture, quality, and reputation of the department.
