We’re just one branch of Flowers Across™, with thriving teams in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, delivering thousands of heartfelt floral gifts each week. With our own tech team, strong online presence, and passionate people, we’re growing fast – and we’re looking for Warehouse Assistants (permanent part-time and casual) to join our team.

About the Role

This role will suit someone who has experience in delivery driving, retail, supermarkets, pick/packing, factory work or any detail-oriented & initiative based physical role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is quick, physically fit and strong, efficient and very well organised. You’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment working towards deadlines, and seeks to own their role.

Please note: you must be able to regularly lift and move up to 25+ kg boxes & product.

Hours & Pay:

We have two openings. Please tell us in your application which option you’re interested in.

Option A: Permanent part-time, 17.5 hours/week.

Fixed weekly hours:

- Monday 7:00am-12:00pm
- Tuesday 7:00am-3:00pm
- Thursday 7:00am-12:00pm

Pay: $28.64 per hour, plus Super. ** Pay rates are above Award and are commensurate with experience.

Option B: Casual, approx. 10-15 hours/week (may be more depending on how busy we are).

Applicants must be available Thursday 7:00am-12:00pm and Friday 7:00am-12:00pm, and also on other days when required (such as Monday and Tuesday).

Pay: $27.81 per hour plus 25% casual loading ($34.76 per hour). ** Pay rates are commensurate with experience.

Flexibility outside of the above days is highly regarded,

What you’ll do:

- Unpack, process, and receive stock and deliveries
- Coordinate with suppliers and couriers as needed
- Support stock control, stock takes, and wastage reduction
- Help with flower prep, plant care, and in office logistics
- Pitch in with general warehouse duties to support the whole team

About YouWhat you’ll bring:

- 1+ years of warehousing or delivery experience is ideal but not necessary.
- Capable of easily lifting heavy buckets to and from shelves (up to 25kg+ daily)
- Ability to follow, analyse and improve systems and procedures
- Exceptional time management skills
- Very well organised with high attention to detail
- Able to work as a positive and helpful team member and both give and receive constructive feedback
- General Excel & Google Docs knowledge

Bonus points for:

- Knowledge of flowers an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
- Experience with ordering and costing of stock
