I’m partnering with a venture capital business to find a proactive and highly organised Team Assistant to join its team in Sydney.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a business and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Working closely with the Executive Assistant, Partners, founders and the wider Investment and Operations teams, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of office, administrative and operational responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing:

- Coordinating domestic and international travel and managing Partner expenses.
- Supporting team events, celebrations and company offsites.
- Overseeing day-to-day office operations, facilities, vendors and workplace experience.
- Coordinating IT support and maintaining office records and documentation.
- Managing the company calendar and assisting with Partner calendar overflow.
- Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding.




- Providing occasional personal support to the founders and backup coverage for the Executive Assistant.
- Assisting the Investment and Operations teams with ad hoc requirements.

What we’re looking for:

Someone who takes ownership, is naturally organised and enjoys being the go-to person for getting things done. You’ll be solutions-focused, discreet and comfortable juggling competing priorities, with the confidence to use your initiative and identify opportunities to improve the way things work.

Curiosity is important too. Whether it’s exploring how AI can improve efficiency or developing an understanding of the venture capital ecosystem, you’ll enjoy learning and finding better ways to work.
