Due to a staff member relocating interstate, we are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

We are a fast paced orthodontic practice with a strong team culture. MB orthodontics has two locations, Greenacres and Ascot Park, the successful applicant will be required to work across both locations.

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our orthodontist and ensuring our patients receive outstanding care throughout their orthodontic journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the orthodontist during clinical procedures.

- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments in accordance with infection control guidelines.

- Supporting patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience.

- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming clinical environment.

- Providing chairside assistance during orthodontic treatments.

- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.





We are offering a full time position and the hours will be 7:45am - 5:30pm subject to the schedule. You will be required to work on a rotating fortnightly roster, days listed below:

WEEK 1

Monday - Greenacres

Tuesday - Greenacres

Wednesday - Ascot Park

Friday - Greenacres

WEEK 2

Tuesday - Greenacres

Wednesday - Greenacres

Thursday - Ascot Park

Friday - Greenacres

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a positive attitude and a friendly, professional manner.

- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Is organised, reliable and has a strong attention to detail.

- Enjoys working with patients of all ages, particularly children and teenagers.

- Can work effectively as part of a team and show initiative.

- Has a genuine interest in orthodontics and patient care.

Previous dental assisting experience is highly regarded, and orthodontic experience would be an advantage. However, we welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills.
