About the Team

Working in partnership, the Swim School Manager and Assistant Swim School Manager will lead the delivery, growth, and day-to-day running of the swim school. The Swim School Manager owns overall leadership, performance, and financial results, while the Assistant Swim School Manager supports daily operations, program delivery, and team coordination — with a strong in-water teaching focus, particularly with infants and early learners.

Swim School Manager

Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role will:

- Lead the delivery of all swim school programs, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with CVM standards
- Drive participation growth through retention, enrolments, and waitlist conversion strategies
- Oversee timetabling, class structures, and rostering of swim teachers
- Manage swim school revenue performance, budgets, and reporting
- Lead, coach, and develop the swim school team, including recruitment and onboarding
- Manage escalated customer enquiries and embed a culture of service excellence

Assistant Swim School Manager (2IC)

Reporting to the Swim School Manager, this role will:

- Deliver engaging, high-quality swim lessons across all levels, with a strong focus on infants and young children
- Support day-to-day operations, class scheduling, and pool deck coordination
- Build strong relationships with families and manage bookings, enrolments, and account enquiries
- Assist with staff coordination, onboarding, and mentoring of swim teachers
- Step confidently into the Swim School Manager role when required, ensuring continuity of service

About You

Swim School Manager:





- A confident and motivated leader with the ability to inspire and support a team
- Robust administration, budgeting, and time management skills
- Experience in aquatics, leisure, or swim school is highly regarded but not essential

Assistant Swim School Manager (2IC):

- A confident and experienced swim teacher across all levels (babies experience highly valued)
- Reliable, proactive, and ready to grow into leadership
- A genuine passion for working with children and families

Qualifications

All CVM employees are required to hold a valid Paid Blue Card. Both roles will also need (or be willing to obtain):

- Swim Teacher and Water Safety qualification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Pool Lifeguard qualification

Weekend availability (minimum one day) is required for both roles.
