Family Law Solicitor – Remote & Flexible Hours

Are you an experienced family lawyer looking for genuine flexibility, the ability to work from home and the freedom to structure your working week around your personal commitments?

Save U Legal is an established boutique law firm based on the Southern Gold Coast. We are seeking a confident, self-motivated family lawyer to join our team in a versatile, casual capacity.

This position has previously operated very successfully with a solicitor working approximately 15–20 hours per week. Due to a change in personal circumstances, we are now looking for someone to take over an established family law workload.

What We Offer

- Fully remote position – work from home, with Adelaide and South Australian applicants particularly encouraged to apply.

- Genuine flexibility – nominate your preferred working days and hours, with a regular agreed schedule to accommodate client appointments and court commitments.

- Approximately 15–25 hours per week, with the opportunity to discuss additional hours.

- $50–$70 per hour, depending on experience.

- Established client base – no requirement to source your own clients.

- Independence and autonomy – manage your own files without unnecessary micromanagement.

- Professional support – direct access to the Principal Solicitor and experienced barrister for guidance when required.

- Administrative and technical support, including access to our practice management systems.

- Meaningful family law work, including parenting and property matters.

About the Role





You will be responsible for managing your own family law matters, including conducting client interviews, providing advice, drafting court documents and correspondence, negotiating settlements and appearing at court events.

You will be trusted to manage your workload independently, with professional guidance available whenever needed.

About You

- Minimum 2 years' practical experience in Australian family law, with more experienced practitioners encouraged to apply.

- Confident managing parenting and property matters independently.

- Solid drafting, negotiation and client communication skills.

- Willing and able to appear at court events, including remotely where permitted.

- Organised, reliable and self-motivated.

- Comfortable working independently as part of a small, supportive team.

- Appropriately admitted and registered for federal court practice, and holding or eligible to obtain the necessary NSW practising certificate.
