About the Role:
Our client, a large North Brisbane firm, is hiring a Business Services Manager. This role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant who enjoys mentoring teammates & advising business owners. You will manage a portfolio of clients, review internal work, and provide guidance to junior team members while working closely with fellow managers and partners.

There is a clear and genuine pathway to an equity-level directorship role in the next 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals (up to $100M turnover)




- Manage and respond to client queries while building robust, long-term relationships, focused on genuine advisory-level support
- Serve as an expert regarding Div 7A, CGT, and FBT strategy
- Collaborate with managers and partners across multiple engagements
- Lead & mentor junior through senior on and offshore team members

Skills and Experience:

- 6+ years' experience in Australian public practice
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within accounting
- CPA/CA/IPA qualified or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Xero and Microsoft Office
- Current and ongoing right to work in Australia
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in client advisory and team mentorship
