Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

Location: Silverwater - Office Based 5 days per week.

The Opportunity

We are currently partnering with a highly respected, industry-leading technical organisation to find a driven and highly organised Business Development Coordinator. In this pivotal role, your primary objective will be to support the business development team in securing new opportunities by expertly coordinating estimates, proposals, tenders, and customer requirements.

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, you will act as the crucial link between sales, engineering, and operations, ensuring every opportunity progresses seamlessly from the initial enquiry right through to final submission and project handover.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic and varied role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the Lead BDM in identifying, developing, and progressing new business opportunities.

- Preparing highly accurate estimates, budgets, and pricing for customer opportunities.

- Developing professional and compelling proposals, quotations, tenders, and capability submissions.

- Liaising with internal engineering, operations, and delivery teams to develop tailored customer solutions.

- Working closely with consulting engineers to ensure our client's systems are specified within tender documentation.

- Managing and updating the CRM, sales pipelines, and customer information.

- Assisting with customer meetings, presentations, and site visits,



while tracking critical tender deadlines.

- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing, technical information, and supporting documentation.

- Completing weekly dashboard and customer activity reporting.

- Representing the business at trade shows and industry events (please note, some interstate travel will be required).

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive, commercially minded coordinator with a strong technical foundation. You will also possess:

- An Engineering qualification in either mechanical, mechatronic or electrical engineering.

- A current Driver’s license.

- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Advanced time management skills with the ability to self-manage your day-to-day activities.

- Self-sufficiency in Outlook as well as relevant technical software and programs.

- A solid commitment to following safety, environment, and quality procedures.
