We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join our Brisbane-based Operations team.

This is a broad and hands-on role that will see you working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support business operations, maintain strong working relationships and contribute to ongoing process improvements across Elston.

What you’ll be doing

- Managing technology, platform and service-provider relationships, including performance, enhancements and action follow-through.

- Applying practical troubleshooting skills to investigate system and platform issues, identify likely causes and coordinate resolution with internal and external teams.

- Building effective vendor relationships and coordinating communication, escalations, testing, service reviews and system changes through to completion.

- Analysing operational processes, systems and data to identify practical improvements to efficiency, controls, scalability and user experience.

- Supporting end-to-end testing, implementation and user adoption of system, platform and process changes.

- Translating business needs and system issues into clear actions across technical and non-technical teams.

- Using operational data to identify trends, exceptions, control gaps and improvement opportunities.

- Maintaining procedures, system guides, process maps and resources that support consistent system use and operational resilience.





- Contributing systems knowledge and operational insight to automation and scalable digital solutions that improve team efficiency and client experience.

What we’re looking for

- Financial services or regulated industry experience is highly desirable.

- Experience with Xplan, IRESS IOS or IPS is advantageous.

- Technical operations experience in a systems-focused environment.

- Strong systems aptitude and ability to quickly learn new platforms.

- Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting capability.

- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and confidence with workplace technology.

- Strong stakeholder and vendor relationship management skills.

- Highly organised, accountable and able to manage competing priorities.
