Due to our continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Billings & Collections Officer to be a full-time member of our team based in our Brisbane Head Office in Spring Hill.

We are wanting an experienced candidate who is honest, reliable and has a reputation for demonstrating initiative. You will be great at time management and importantly, be proficient in all aspects of billing & collection processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

· Minimum 1-2 years health services experience

· Experience in hospital systems

· Knowledge of Health fund contracts and billing processes

· Knowledge of health fund contracts including levels of cover and patient eligibility

· Accounts Receivable knowledge

· Basic knowledge of accounting principles

· Knowledge of medical terminology

· Able to work flexible schedule as required

· Demonstrate effective organisational skills

· Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accurate data entry

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Highly developed verbal and written communication skills

· Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required





· Sound Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with all other standard Microsoft Office products
