We offer a range of English Language (ELICOS), Vocational Education and Training (VET), School-Based Training (SBT) and Study Tour programs.

We are currently seeking two motivated and experienced professionals to join our Brisbane team:

- Position 1: Student Services Officer – School-Based Training (Domestic Students)

- Position 2: International Marketing and Recruitment Officer – International Students & Study Tours

Both positions are based at our Kangaroo Point campus.

Position 1: Student Services Officer

Key Responsibilities

- Provide skilled and responsive student support, with a primary focus on domestic students enrolled in School-Based Training (SBT) programs.

- Respond to student enquiries relating to enrolments, courses, timetables, training arrangements and general study matters.

- Support student enrolments, orientation and ongoing student administration.

- Liaise with students, parents, schools, trainers and internal departments to ensure effective communication and student support.

- Maintain accurate student records and documentation using student management systems, including aXcelerate.

- Assist with student progress monitoring, communication, engagement activities and day-to-day concerns.

- Support administrative compliance, record keeping and quality assurance processes.

- Contribute to a positive student experience and support broader Student Services activities as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in student services, education administration or customer service.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems; experience with aXcelerate is advantageous.

- A proactive, approachable and student-focused attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.





- Experience in an RTO or School-Based Training environment will be highly regarded.

- A valid Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is required.

Position 2: International Marketing and Recruitment Officer – Study Tours & International Students

Key Responsibilities

International Student Recruitment

- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract international students to Shafston's ELICOS and VET programs.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with education agents and recruitment partners across international markets.

- Identify new market opportunities and achieve student enrolment targets through effective recruitment and marketing initiatives.

- Represent Shafston at recruitment events and liaise with agents and prospective students to support enrolment processes.

Study Tour Recruitment & Business Development

- Actively promote Shafston's Study Tour and short-term education programs to international schools, agents and group organisers.

- Identify and develop new Study Tour opportunities through partnerships with overseas schools, educational institutions and recruitment partners.

- Build and maintain solid relationships with international partners to attract new Study Tour groups and increase program participation.

- Work closely with the Study Tour team on group enquiries, program proposals and recruitment opportunities.

Marketing & Relationship Management

- Support digital marketing campaigns, promotional materials and social media initiatives.

- Monitor market trends, recruitment performance and emerging opportunities, providing regular reports to management.

- Ensure compliance with relevant international education regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 years' experience in international education marketing, student recruitment or a related field.





- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing international education agent networks.

- Previous experience in Study Tour recruitment, group education programs or international school partnerships highly desirable.

- Proven ability to develop recruitment opportunities and achieve student enrolment targets.

- Strong understanding of the Australian international education sector, including ELICOS and VET programs.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management and interpersonal skills.

- Established networks with international education agents, schools or recruitment partners highly desirable.

- Strong administrative, CRM and digital marketing skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms.

- Additional language skills and knowledge of international education markets will be highly regarded.

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
