Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our team either on a part-time or full-time basis. This is a role located in our offices in Mornington. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to our clients on a diverse variety of work, including SMSF and related trust deed reviews and a variety of commercial matters, along with some litigation files. There is the opportunity to develop your skills with mentoring alongside an experienced practice principal.
The role would suit both a 2nd year lawyer looking to gain knowledge and experience or a more an experienced lawyer looking for a variety of work in a more relaxed environment.
There will be a defined career path available to the successful applicant.
Qualifications and prerequisites:
- Strong knowledge of commercial law and legal principles
- Knowledge of superannuation laws and SMSFs would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
- Robust research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in law
- Experience in a similar role
- Valid Practicing Certificate
