About the Role

As Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the group's financial information while providing meaningful analysis, insights and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Working closely with senior management, you will gain exposure to all aspects of group finance, including financial reporting,



treasury management, statutory compliance, process improvement and business performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports across multiple entities

- Managing and coordinating month-end and year-end reporting processes

- Assisting with group budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management

- Supporting GST, FBT, income tax and other statutory compliance obligations

- Providing financial analysis, commentary and recommendations to senior management

- Monitoring and managing group banking and treasury requirements

- Identifying and implementing improvements to financial systems, processes and reporting

- Providing oversight and support across accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions

- Assisting with business planning, operational reporting and growth initiatives

- Supporting the ongoing development of the group's finance function and reporting capabilities

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting capability with commercial awareness and a genuine desire to add value to the business.

You will ideally have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline





- Approximately 3-7 years' experience in accounting or finance

- CPA, CA or IPA qualification, or be actively working towards completion

- Experience managing month-end and year-end reporting processes

- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills

- Advanced proficiency in Xero and familiarity with payroll systems

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business

- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

- The ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of outcomes

- A collaborative approach and a strong desire to contribute to team success
