About the role

Brisbane Isuzu is seeking enthusiastic and motivated 1st and 2nd Year Apprentice Technicians to join our agile automotive service team. This is a full-time apprenticeship position based at our Eagle Farm QLD location. As an Apprentice Technician, you will be gaining hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics under the guidance of our experienced senior technicians.

This role is pivotal in developing the next generation of skilled automotive professionals and offers you the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the automotive trades industry.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting senior technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs

- Learning and performing diagnostic procedures to identify vehicle faults and issues

- Using hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively

- Preparing vehicles for service and conducting basic inspections

- Cleaning and maintaining workshop equipment and tools

- Following workshop procedures and health and safety protocols at all times

- Completing set tasks and gaining practical experience in automotive systems and components

- Attending off-the-job training to support your apprenticeship qualification

- Contributing to the efficient operation of the service department

- Developing customer service awareness through workshop interactions

What we're looking for

- Currently enrolled in or committed to completing a formal automotive apprenticeship (Certificate III in Automotive Technology or equivalent)

- A genuine passion for vehicles and the automotive industry

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a workshop environment





- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude

- Willingness to learn and develop new skills throughout your apprenticeship

- Physical fitness and the ability to work in varying physical positions for extended periods

- Valid driver's licence (preferred)

- Prior workshop experience or automotive knowledge is beneficial but not essential
