About ENP Fitouts

ENP Fitouts is a Brisbane-based commercial builder delivering high-quality fit-outs across hospitality, retail, office, medical, and wellness sectors. We manage projects end-to-end — from pre-construction through to completion — with a strong focus on quality workmanship, teamwork and project delivery.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and reliable 1st Year Carpentry Apprentice who is eager to learn, develop practical skills and build a career in the commercial construction industry.

The Role

Working alongside our experienced carpenters and site teams, you will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of commercial fit-out projects throughout Brisbane. This is an opportunity for someone looking to begin their carpentry apprenticeship and develop a strong foundation in commercial construction.

You will be involved in day-to-day site activities, assisting qualified tradespeople and learning the practical skills required to become a competent carpenter.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. Previous construction experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Carpentry & Construction Works

- Assist qualified carpenters with daily carpentry and commercial fit-out works
- Learn to measure, cut, assemble and install construction materials
- Assist with timber framing, metal framing, partitions and internal fit-out works
- Learn the correct use and maintenance of hand tools and power tools




- Assist with the installation of doors, hardware, fixtures and finishing components
- Develop an understanding of construction drawings, measurements and specifications
- Learn appropriate construction techniques and quality workmanship standards

Site Operations & Support

- Assist with site preparation and general construction activities
- Support qualified tradespeople with materials, equipment and installation works
- Assist with material deliveries, unloading and organising site materials
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow instructions from supervisors and qualified tradespeople
- Work collaboratively with other trades and site personnel
- Complete allocated tasks safely and efficiently under appropriate supervision

Training & Development

- Participate in the required apprenticeship training and assessments
- Develop practical carpentry skills through supervised, hands-on experience
- Learn workplace health and safety requirements and secure work procedures
- Build confidence in using construction tools, equipment and materials
- Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as skills develop
- Continuously improve workmanship,

- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Construction White Card or willingness to obtain one before commencing site work
- Ability to reliably travel to different project sites throughout Brisbane

Previous construction experience is not essential. We value attitude, reliability and a genuine commitment to learning the trade.
