Totalspan Cairns is a locally owned and operated steel building company that has proudly serviced Far North Queensland since 2006. We specialise in the design, supply and construction of garages, sheds, workshops, carports, rural and commercial steel buildings.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a driven and organised Sales Consultant – Sheds & Steel Buildings to join our friendly team.

This is more than just a sales role. You'll guide customers through their entire building journey—from the initial enquiry and design consultation through to contract signing and handover to our construction team.

About the Role

Working with a steady flow of quality customer enquiries, you'll help clients design the right building solution while managing your own portfolio of opportunities from enquiry through to sale.

Key Responsibilities

- Convert customer enquiries into successful sales
- Meet with customers in our showroom and in office
- Design practical steel building solutions to suit customer needs
- Prepare quotations and proactively follow up opportunities
- Negotiate and secure contracts
- Coordinate projects with concreters, builders and suppliers to ensure a smooth handover
- Participate in weekly planning meetings
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the entire sales process

About You

You'll be someone who:




- Has proven sales experience and enjoys achieving results
- Builds rapport and communicates confidently with customers
- Is organised and able to manage multiple projects
- Works well independently while contributing to a small team
- Has strong computer and administration skills
- Holds a current driver's licence

Building or construction industry experience is an advantage, but not essential. We'll provide product training—the right attitude, work ethic and sales ability are what matter most.

What We Offer

- Competitive base salary of $60,000
- Uncapped commission with realistic On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $95,000+
