About the role The primary purpose of the role is to design, develop and maintain high-quality integration solutions that meet business requirements and align with Allianz Technology architecture, methodologies and standards.

The role supports both project delivery and operational stability across enterprise integration platforms.

- Design, develop and maintain secure solutions using Apigee and IBM DataPower.
- Implement and manage security policies, including TLS/SSL configurations, access control, and threat protection.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Apigee and DataPower-related issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Apigee and DataPower solutions with existing systems.




- Support data streaming and integration efforts using Confluent Kafka.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and support procedures.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutions.

About you

- 5+ years’ experience with Google Apigee and IBM DataPower API proxies, security configurations and management.
- Strong understanding of TLS/SSL, encryption, and authentication protocols.
- Experience with Apigee API management and Confluent Kafka is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java / Javascript, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with both RESTful and SOAP/XML APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills (proactive and high responsive) and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the design considerations relevant to high performance / high availability operational environments
- Insurance or financial services experience (e.g., ACORD Messaging)
- Good time management skills for the coordination of multiple tasks.




- Eye for detail as you will be responsible for the quality the software solutions the Team develop and support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
