We are seeking a skilled Application Packaging & SCCM/Intune Administrator Specialist to manage enterprise application packaging, software deployment, Windows endpoint management, and migration from SCCM/MECM to Microsoft Intune.
Key Responsibilities
- Package, repackage, test, and deploy Windows applications using MSI, EXE, MSIX, Win32, InstallShield, Advanced Installer, AdminStudio, and Master Packager.
- Develop PowerShell scripts for installation, uninstallation, detection, remediation, rollback, and automation.
- Administer SCCM/MECM applications, packages, collections, deployments, task sequences, OS imaging, inventory, compliance, software updates, and client health.
- Manage Intune application deployments using .intunewin, configuration profiles, compliance and security policies, endpoint protection, and Windows Autopilot.
- Configure application requirements, dependencies, supersedence, detection rules, and deployment methods.
- Troubleshoot application failures, deployment issues, SCCM/Intune client problems, registry, permissions, services, and policy conflicts.
- Analyze Windows Event Viewer, MSI, SCCM, and Intune Management Extension logs.
- Support Windows patching, SCCM–Intune co-management, and migration to modern endpoint management.
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 support, maintain technical documentation, and participate in incident, problem, and change management.
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure, security, vendors, and service desk teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in application packaging and enterprise endpoint management.
- Strong hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM,
Microsoft Intune, and PowerShell.
- Experience with MSI, EXE, MSIX/AppX, Win32 packaging, software distribution, and application troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11, application detection rules, dependencies, supersedence, task sequences, and patch management.
- Experience with Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, Autopilot, and SCCM client troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, certificates, and Windows networking.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- SCCM–Intune co-management and Microsoft Endpoint Analytics.
- Advanced Installer, InstallShield, AdminStudio, Master Packager, and App-V.
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Windows provisioning packages.
- ITIL processes and enterprise change management.
