Assistant Accountant

Working closely with an experienced Finance Business Partner, you’ll help turn financial information into meaningful insights and support department managers in understanding business performance.

About the role:

In this role, you’ll play an active part in driving financial success by:

· Assisting with monthly management reporting and financial analysis

· Investigating results, anomalies and key movements

· Supporting the annual budgeting and bi-annual forecasting processes

· Working with managers to understand their financial performance

· Preparing analysis and commentary to support decision-making and to provide insights to the business

· Assisting with inventory costing and provisioning

About you:

The successful applicant will ideally possess:

· A degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

· Experience in an Assistant Accountant, Analyst Support or similar role





· Strong Excel and analytical skills coupled with experience using large ERP systems

· Exposure to management reporting, month end journal entries and budgeting

· An inquisitive mindset and strong attention to detail

· Ability to handle pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines

· Confidence communicating and building relationships across the business

CPA or CA studies are desirable (completed or underway), while experience with Microsoft Business Central, inventory costing or manufacturing would be an advantage.
