You own the charcoal at Char'd. Chickens marinated for 48 hours, cooked over real coals, and never held for more than 15 minutes. It's the job the whole shop is built around.
What you'll do
- Light, build and manage the charcoal so the pit holds the right heat all shift
- Load, cook and carve whole chickens on the charcoal
- Time each batch to demand so no chicken sits for more than 15 minutes
- Check every bird is cooked through and meets the Char'd standard
- Keep the pit, rotisserie and grill area clean and secure
What we're looking for
- Charcoal or grill experience is a plus, but we train the right people
- Comfortable working with fire and heat for a full shift
- Takes pride in cooking food properly, every time
- Reliable, on time and available for some nights and weekends
Casual, part-time and full-time shifts available at Belfield, Eastern Creek and St Clair.
