Overview Of School
We are a Catholic School catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our heritage lies in the traditions of both the Presentation Sisters and the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart. Following these traditions, we have a special concern for the disadvantaged. We treat each other with respect and compassion to maintain a positive learning environment that promotes the values of Jesus Christ.
We strive to provide an environment that nurtures the spiritual, academic and social development of all students.
Our Parish
School is committed to providing innovative and contemporary learning and teaching for all students. A contemporary learning approach that is personalised, and always responding to the learning needs, interests and experiences of each student. Our aim is to empower students with the knowledge, skills and capacities to respond creatively to the challenges of their world.
Overview Of Role
Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School, South Lismore serves the evangelising mission of the Catholic Church - to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
In the Diocese of Lismore, Catholic parish schools have responded to historical, religious and cultural contexts for over 150 years and continue to do so today, in this case, serving the community of South Lismore and its surrounds.
