We are currently working with a national law firm seeking a junior lawyer or Associate to join its Commercial Technology team in Canberra.

This is an chance to work closely with respected partners and senior lawyers advising government and private sector clients on a broad range of technology, privacy, cyber and commercial matters.

The Role

- Advising on commercial technology and ICT procurement matters
- Drafting and negotiating a range of technology, services and outsourcing agreements
- Providing advice on privacy, data governance and information-sharing obligations
- Assisting clients with data breaches, cyber incidents and regulatory compliance matters
- Working on major government projects and procurement initiatives
- Supporting clients across contract management,

About You

- 1-3 years PAE gained within a reputable private practice, government or in-house environment.
- Experience in commercial, technology, privacy, regulatory or government-related matters.
- Exposure to contracting, procurement, ICT, data protection or cyber issues would be highly regarded.
