Nuway Landscape Supplies, Queensland's largest landscape supplies chain, is looking for a Counter Sales / Yard Person to join the team at our Ormeau store. (Potential to also work at other locations when required)

In this role, you'll be the face of Nuway. You'll greet customers, process sales, give advice on our product range, and make sure every customer leaves happy.

If you enjoy helping people, like being an all-rounder, and want a reliable role with a well-established business, this is the job for you.

What you'll do

- Greet customers at the sales counter and help with product enquiries
- Process sales and orders accurately using our POS system
- Load and unload materials safely in the yard using a loader and forklift
- Keep the yard and sales area tidy, safe and WHS compliant




- Help with stock deliveries and product replenishment

What we're looking for

- Experience in retail, trade or landscape supplies (preferred, not essential)
- Front End Loader licence, or willingness to get one within 6 weeks (highly regarded)
- Forklift licence, or willingness to get one within 6 weeks (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual, and ready to pitch in wherever needed
- Comfortable with physical work and full of energy
- Available weekdays plus one weekend a fortnight

Hours

Casual position, approximately 20–40 hours per week, including every second weekend.
