You will have the opportunity to work with theFront Office department which consists of approximately 60 colleagues . This is an excitingopportunity foryou to grow your hotel skill setin order to build acareer with-in The Langham, shall you be determined and dedicated.

This positionis an integral part of a highperforming hotel team, and a key contributor to the hotel’s ongoing success.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide a warm welcoming smile for all ourguests
- Assist guests entering and departing the hotel with luggage
- Familiarise the guests with the hotel rooms, facilities, amenitiesand services
- Deliver messages, faxes and other items to guest rooms or otherhotel areas
- Assist the Doorperson; opening car doors, greeting guests,summoning taxi’s, keeping the Porte Cochere (driveway) explicit, loading/unloadingluggage into vehicles, labelling luggage & car keys
- Monitor cleanliness of the Ground Floor Lobby, Front Driveway,Porters Station & Back Corridor and the Baggage Store

For this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following:

- 5 star hotel experience is an advantage
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic
- Proven organisational & time management skills
- Hold a current manual Australian driverslicense
- Immaculate presentation andgrooming




- Ability to work independently
- Eye for detail coupled with a strongability to proactively identify, prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Successfully accomplish objectives in abusy and challenging workplace

The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours of10.30pm through to 8am.

This is a fixed term contract through to February 2019- with the possibility of an extension.

HYGIENE ANDGROOMING - Naturally in the service industry high standards of personalpresentation, hygiene, grooming, and conservative hairstyles are of thegreatest importance. This must be present throughout the interview stage.
