Jellis Craig Real Estate – Mount Waverley VIC

As our Property Management Floater, your primary responsibility will be providing portfolio coverage during staff leave, ensuring seamless continuity of service for our rental providers and renters. When leave coverage is not required, you will assist the wider Property Management team with day-to-day tasks, inspections and general portfolio support. Working at our Mount Waverley offices, you will play an important role in keeping our department running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Manage Property Management portfolios during annual leave, personal leave and other staff absences
- Oversee day-to-day Property Management responsibilities while providing temporary portfolio coverage
- Conduct routine property inspections and complete accurate reports as required
- Prepare detailed entry and exit condition reports
- Assist with maintenance requests, repairs and contractor communication
- Maintain professional relationships and respond to enquiries efficiently
- Assist Property Managers and Team Leaders with administrative and operational tasks when required




- Work closely with the Property Management department to ensure consistent service standards

About you

- Previous experience as a Property Manager (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Victorian rental legislation and Property Management processes
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- The ability to confidently manage multiple portfolios and adapt quickly to different working styles
- A proactive, adaptable and team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with PropertyMe and Inspection Express (highly regarded)
- Relevant Victorian real estate qualifications and eligibility to perform Property Management duties
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Open to part-time for the right candidate - working 5 hours per day.
