About The Role As a Café Attendant / Barista, you will support the Café Manager at Menora Gardens Retirement Living to deliver exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming café environment. This hands-on role includes preparing and serving coffee and food, assisting customers, processing payments, maintaining clean and organised café areas, and supporting catering for functions and events.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve quality coffee, beverages and café menu items.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service to residents, families and visitors.
- Process customer orders and payments through the point-of-sale system.
- Assist with food preparation, presentation and service.
- Maintain clean and well-presented front and back-of-house areas.
- Support stock management, food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Assist with catering and café functions as required.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous experience as a barista in a busy café or hospitality environment
- Passionate about coffee,



food and delivering great customer service
- Confident supporting café service, food preparation and kitchen operations
- Reliable, flexible and a positive team player who works well under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a skilled presentation.
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
