About the Role Based in Albion, we currently have a vacancy for a dependable and customer-focused Battery Technician / Sales Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of retail, technical work, and customer service.

You will support day-to-day store operations while also assisting customers with battery testing, battery replacement, product advice, and mobile call-out services.

Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

- Test, fit, and replace batteries across automotive and related applications
- Assist retail and trade customers with battery sales and product recommendations
- Provide explicit technical advice and reliable customer support
- Process sales transactions and payments accurately through point-of-sale systems




- Travel to customer locations for battery testing, installation, and call-out service work
- Receive incoming stock, rotate inventory, and maintain stock accuracy
- Keep the store clean, organised, and professionally presented
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About You

- Current open manual driver’s licence
- Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
- Physically fit and able to safely lift and handle heavy batteries
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills and confidence using retail or point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices

Desirable experience

- Battery fitting experience
- Automotive industry background
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools
- Retail sales experience
- Experience with diagnostic tools or battery testing equipment
