About the role

We are seeking a Beauty Skincare Expert/Pharmacy Assistant to join our Tamworth NSW store on a full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for skincare and beauty with pharmaceutical knowledge to deliver outstanding customer service. You will play a vital role in our store operations, providing expert advice on our beauty and skincare ranges whilst supporting our pharmacy team.

This position offers the perfect blend of retail expertise and healthcare service, allowing you to make a tangible impact on customer health and confidence.

Key responsibilities

- Provide expert skincare and beauty advice to customers, conducting consultations and recommending appropriate products based on individual skin types and concerns

- Assist pharmacy customers with general health and wellness enquiries, working alongside qualified pharmacy staff

- Maintain detailed product knowledge across all beauty, skincare and general pharmacy items stocked in the store

- Process customer transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and maintain cash handling procedures

- Receive and stock merchandise, ensuring shelves are well-organised, properly labelled and visually appealing

- Support the pharmacy team with non-dispensing tasks including file management, stock monitoring and customer service

- Maintain store cleanliness and organisation standards, adhering to health and safety requirements





- Build lasting customer relationships through personalised service and follow-up recommendations

- Participate in staff training and product education sessions to expand knowledge of our ranges

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in beauty, skincare or cosmetics retail, or pharmacy assistance

- Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients, product types and their benefits for different skin conditions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers

- Genuine passion for beauty and skincare with an enthusiasm for educating customers

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems and basic computer literacy
- A professional, neat appearance and commitment to personal presentation standards

- Willingness to undertake relevant training in pharmacy support and product knowledge

- Preferred: Customer service qualifications or certifications in skincare/beauty advising
