About ANAMEI

ANAMEI Scalp Spa & Wellness is a boutique wellness space in Braddon, Canberra, specialising in Japanese-inspired Head Spa, scalp care, facial treatments and relaxation-focused body treatments.

We focus on personalised service, attention to detail and creating a calm, professional and welcoming experience for every client.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, reliable and professional Beauty Therapist / Spa Therapist to join our team.

This position is best suited to someone who already has professional experience in a Beauty, Spa or Massage Therapy environment and is confident providing hands-on treatments and client care.

About the Role

You will provide a range of Head Spa, facial and wellness treatments while following ANAMEI’s service standards, hygiene procedures and treatment protocols.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing Japanese-inspired Head Spa treatments
- Performing facial and skin treatments
- Providing relaxation and body treatments according to your qualifications and experience
- Conducting client consultations and understanding individual treatment needs
- Explaining treatment steps and providing suitable home-care recommendations where appropriate
- Maintaining treatment rooms, equipment and high hygiene standards
- Assisting with general spa operations and client service
- Participating in ongoing internal training
- Following and developing your skills within ANAMEI’s Head Spa and scalp care treatment protocols

About You

We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented,



reliable and genuinely enjoys working in the beauty and wellness industry.

To be considered, you should have:

- Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy qualification, or another relevant Beauty / Spa qualification
- Minimum 6 months of professional experience in a Beauty, Spa or Massage Therapy environment
- Professional experience providing facial treatments and/or massage treatments
- Strong hands-on treatment skills
- Valuable communication and customer service skills
- High standards of hygiene, presentation and attention to detail
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- Confidence working independently
- Ability to work well as part of a small team
- A genuine interest in client care, wellness and professional development

Highly Regarded

Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:

- Head Spa or scalp treatments
- Scalp analysis
- Relaxation massage
- Remedial massage
- Lymphatic drainage massage
- Advanced facial treatments
- Hair washing or salon experience
- Beauty or skincare retail
- Spa, beauty clinic or wellness environments

Previous professional Beauty, Spa or Massage Therapy experience is required.

Experience in Head Spa or scalp treatments is highly regarded.

ANAMEI-specific Head Spa and scalp care training will be provided to successful applicants as part of our internal treatment standards.

Availability

We are currently looking for a Casual / Part-time Therapist.

Applicants with some weekday and weekend availability are preferred.

Hours will depend on bookings and can be discussed during the interview.
