1. Brand & Communications Lead

EHI | Full-time prospect

About the role

EHI is looking for a creative, commercially minded Brand & Communications Lead to shape and bring to life a portfolio of established brands, including Easyroll, Everhang, Rocket, SurfaceGard, Colson Castors and ProVal.

This is a hands-on role combining brand strategy with content creation and communications. You’ll develop brand direction, shape campaign briefs, and turn ideas into compelling, on-brand content across digital, retail and trade channels.

We’re looking for someone who can think strategically and roll up their sleeves to get things done. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day brand and communications activity for your assigned brands, from writing campaign copy and creating content to coordinating packaging and point-of-sale updates.

Working closely with the Head of Product & Marketing, Ecommerce Lead and wider commercial team, you’ll help build brand consistency, strengthen customer engagement and ensure our brands stand out across every touchpoint.

What you’ll be doing

Brand strategy and development

- Develop brand positioning, campaign briefs and tone-of-voice guidelines for your assigned portfolio of brands.

- Translate brand strategy into practical, engaging communications that connect with customers and support business objectives.

- Maintain consistency across packaging, point-of-sale (POS), ecommerce product pages, social media and trade marketing materials.

- Contribute to new product launches, brand refreshes and integrated marketing campaigns.

- Monitor brand performance, campaign results, share of voice and retailer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

Content creation and communications

- Write and produce engaging content across a range of channels, including website copy, campaign materials, social media, trade communications and retailer collateral.

- Create and source on-brand product and lifestyle imagery for ecommerce product pages,

ensuring content aligns with current brand guidelines.

- Design or coordinate creative assets for packaging updates, POS materials and other brand communications.

- Plan and manage social media activity and content calendars, taking a hands-on approach to execution.

- Develop PR materials and manage smaller media opportunities, coordinating agency support for larger initiatives where required.

- Bring brand stories to life through clear, consistent and compelling messaging.

Collaboration and stakeholder management

- Work with external agencies and specialist partners when required, providing clear briefs and managing deliverables.

- Prepare high-quality retailer-facing presentations and marketing materials to support the commercial team in customer discussions, including with Bunnings.

- Partner with the Ecommerce Lead to supply product imagery, branded content and additional assets that enhance ecommerce product pages.

- Collaborate with sales, product and marketing stakeholders to communicate brand updates and maintain alignment across the business.

- Work closely with the Head of Product & Marketing to develop brand direction and secure approval before bringing campaigns and initiatives to life.

What you’ll bring

- Brand and marketing experience: 3–6 years’ experience in brand management, marketing communications or a similar role.

- Strategic thinking: The ability to develop brand direction, write clear creative briefs and translate strategy into actionable marketing activity.

- A hands-on mindset:

You’ve planned campaigns and personally created the content to deliver them, rather than relying solely on agencies or other team members.

- Strong copywriting skills: You can write engaging, audience-appropriate content and adapt tone of voice across different brands and channels.

- Creative and design capability: Practical experience with tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to create or refine branded assets.

- Digital content experience: Confidence producing product imagery, ecommerce content and social media assets that meet brand guidelines.

- Organisation and initiative: You can manage competing priorities, work independently and keep projects moving in a lean, fast-paced environment.

- Collaboration skills: You’re comfortable working across teams, managing external partners and building productive internal relationships.

Experience in FMCG, hardware, trade or B2B2C retail environments would be highly regarded, particularly if you’ve worked with major retailers or across a portfolio of brands.

What success looks like?

In this role, you will bring greater consistency and clarity to our brands, deliver quality marketing content across key channels and help turn brand strategy into practical, measurable outcomes.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership, contribute ideas and see your work make a tangible difference, combining the freedom to shape brand direction with the satisfaction of creating and delivering the work yourself.

Why join EHI?

- Make your mark: Help shape the direction and execution of a diverse portfolio of brands.

- Own the process: Take ideas from initial brief through to finished creative output.

- Work collaboratively: Partner with an experienced marketing leader and cross-functional teams to bring campaigns to life.

- Enjoy variety: Balance strategic brand development with creative, hands-on execution across digital, retail and trade channels.
