Business Development Manager

Farrell Transport Group is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Pimpama. If you’re a commercially minded sales professional who loves building relationships and winning new work across the civil, construction, landscaping, quarry and infrastructure sectors, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

You’ll grow our customer base and develop existing accounts across South East Queensland, with a focus on the southern Brisbane region. Working closely with our operations and leadership teams, you’ll uncover opportunities in material supply and disposal, quarry supply, contaminated material management and general truck hire, and turn them into long-term partnerships.

This is a field-based role for someone who’d rather be out meeting customers than sitting behind a desk, and who takes real ownership of their results.

What You’ll Do

- Find and win new business across South East Queensland
- Build and manage a strong pipeline in the civil, construction and infrastructure sectors
- Grow existing accounts and expand haulage & truck hire opportunities
- Position Farrell Transport Group on major projects and construction sites
- Respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and deliver tailored solutions
- Build lasting relationships with customers, stakeholders and industry partners
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and networking functions
- Work with internal teams to make sure every customer is looked after
- Drive revenue growth, meet sales targets and contribute to our growth strategy





About You You’re a results-driven sales professional with energy, confidence and a strong commercial mindset. You’re comfortable working independently in the field, but you know the value of a valuable team behind you.

You’ll bring

- Proven sales experience, ideally in transport, civil construction, earthmoving or a related industry
- A track record of winning new business and growing accounts
- Robust communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- The ability to understand customer needs and recommend the right solution
- Excellent organisation and the ability to juggle multiple opportunities
- A proactive, customer-first attitude and a genuine drive to succeed
- A willingness to learn and grow with a supportive team
- A current driver’s licence
