Key Responsibilities

- Support the Café Manager with daily operations.

- Independently oversee café operations during the Manager's absence.

- Lead and supervise the front-of-house team.

- Prepare consistently high-quality espresso coffee.

- Coordinate staff and service during busy periods.

- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and customer service.

- Assist with staff training, rostering and operational procedures.

- Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.

- Oversee opening and closing procedures and cash handling.

- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in café supervision, team leadership or assistant management.

- Strong barista skills are essential, including experience working with commercial espresso machines in a busy workplace.

- Ability to confidently lead a team and make decisions independently.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- A proactive, hands-on approach to work.

- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- Availability to work weekends and cover management leave as required.
