At The Motley Hotel, we're looking for an experienced Casual Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef to join our growing culinary team. Whether it's breakfast service, à la carte dining, private events or helping create seasonal specials, you'll play an important role in delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

As part of The Motley by Hilton, you'll work in a boutique hotel where creativity, quality and genuine hospitality come together.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Senior Sous Chef, you'll be responsible for:

- Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes across a variety of services.
- Ensuring consistency, quality and attention to detail in every plate.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver smooth, efficient service.
- Assisting with menu development, seasonal specials and new ideas.
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Managing your section and contributing to a positive, professional kitchen culture.
- Supporting stock control, minimising waste and respecting cost controls.
- Living The Motley's commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

About You

You'll bring

- At least 3 years' experience in a commercial kitchen.




- Solid technical cooking skills and pride in your craft.
- Experience working in busy service environments.
- A calm, organised approach under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal produce and quality hospitality.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
- Experience in a boutique hotel or quality independent restaurant is highly regarded.
