Casual Front of House All Rounder

Wynnum West Bakery Cafe is a busy local bakery and cafe in Brisbane’s bayside, and we’re looking for a friendly, energetic all rounder to join our front of house team on a casual basis. If you love people, good coffee and a beautifully presented cabinet, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a casual position, with shifts offered as needed to suit the needs of the business. You’ll be the face of our bakery, keeping things running smoothly at the counter. Your responsibilities will include:

- Serving customers and providing a warm, welcoming experience
- Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
- Making quality coffee (barista experience is a bonus, training provided if needed)
- Restocking and refilling the sweets cabinet throughout the day
- Decorating cakes and sweets with care and attention to detail
- Helping keep the front of house running smoothly during busy periods




- Working closely with the team to get things done

What we’re looking for

- Quick on your feet, especially when things get busy
- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Great communication skills with customers and team members
- Reliable and punctual
- Versatile availability, including the ability to pick up shifts at short notice
- A genuine people person who enjoys customer service
- Comfortable getting hands on with decorating and presentation

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 6.0 per week
