About Full Force Gym

Full Force Gym is more than just a place to train. Established in 2003 by world champion Reinhard “Bad Ass” Badato, we’re a family-run martial arts gym with a proud history, passionate coaches and a community built on hard work, respect and personal growth.

From first-time beginners looking to build confidence and fitness to experienced martial artists and aspiring champions, we welcome people from all walks of life. Our culture is energetic, supportive and driven by a shared passion for helping people become the best version of themselves.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focused Centre Coordinator to join our team and help keep that culture thriving, both on and off the mats.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, varied role that brings together sales, customer service, reception and day-to-day operations.

You'll be the friendly face of Full Force Gym, welcoming new faces, building relationships with members and helping prospective clients find the right training program for their goals. You'll also play an important role in driving membership growth, following up on enquiries and ensuring the administrative side of the business runs smoothly.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being around people, brings positive energy to their work and takes pride in creating an environment where members feel welcome, supported and motivated.

If you're just as comfortable having a conversation with a prospective member as you are managing bookings, sorting out an admin task or finding a better way to do things, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Membership Growth

- Respond to membership enquiries and guide prospective members through their options.
- Conduct gym tours, explain our programs and help people find the right fit for their goals.
- Follow up on leads, trial sessions and enquiries to convert interest into memberships.
- Manage membership sign-ups, renewals, upgrades, cancellations and retention.
- Promote gym programs, events, offers and other services.

- Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and support business growth.

Reception & Member Experience

- Be the first point of contact for members, visitors and prospective clients, both in person and online.
- Create a welcoming, upbeat and professional front-of-house experience.
- Assist with bookings, payments, membership enquiries and general customer support.
- Support new members through onboarding and help them feel part of the Full Force community.
- Build positive relationships with members and help maintain the friendly, inclusive culture of the gym.
- Handle feedback and resolve routine issues, escalating matters where necessary.

Administration & Daily Operations

- Manage membership records, contracts, direct debits, payments and CRM updates.
- Coordinate class bookings, attendance, waitlists and communication with coaches.
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures and ensure reception runs efficiently.
- Monitor stock, maintain front-of-house presentation and report maintenance requirements.
- Keep administrative systems and processes organised, accurate and up to date.
- Assist with gym events, promotions and other operational projects.

Marketing & Community Engagement

- Assist with in-gym promotions, membership campaigns and social media initiatives.
- Communicate class updates, events, offers and announcements to members.
- Help drive attendance, engagement and member retention.
- Bring ideas to the table and look for ways to improve the member experience.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience in sales, customer service, reception, administration or a similar role.
- Is confident talking to people, building rapport and following up on sales opportunities.

- Enjoys working towards goals and understands the importance of converting enquiries into memberships.
- Brings a positive, approachable and energetic attitude to work.
- Is organised, reliable and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
- Takes initiative, solves problems and looks for ways to improve how things are done.
- Communicates well with members, coaches and management.
- Is comfortable using computers, booking systems, CRM platforms and general office software.
- Can work independently while being a supportive and collaborative team member.

Experience in a gym, martial arts centre or membership-based business is highly regarded but not required. An interest in fitness or martial arts is a bonus, but a great attitude, robust people skills and a willingness to learn are just as important.

Hours of Work The regular roster is:

- Monday: 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm
- Tuesday: 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm
- Wednesday: 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm
- Thursday: 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm
- Friday: 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm
- Saturday: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Additional hours during standard business hours may be requested from time to time, depending on operational requirements and business demand.

Why Join Full Force?

- Be part of an established martial arts gym with a proud history and strong community.
- Work alongside passionate coaches and people who love what they do.
- Play a meaningful role in helping people build confidence, improve their fitness and achieve their goals.
- Enjoy a varied position where no two days are quite the same.
- Contribute your ideas, take ownership of your work and help shape the member experience.

Ready to Join the Team?

If you're a people person with a sales mindset, a proactive approach and the energy to thrive in a lively martial arts environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Come be part of the Full Force experience.
